Masks & Covid tests required for all patients with coughs/Colds/Flu/Sore throats / Sinus infections

We are once again entering the busiest time of the year for the practice. We have already seen an increase in the number of patients attending with upper respiratory infections. This includes coughs, colds, influenza, sore throats, tonsillitis, and sinusitis.

For the sake of our very small team of staff and for the safety of everyone in the waiting room we will be asking all patients attending with respiratory symptoms to do a covid test before attending the practice and if the test is negative, to wear a face mask when they arrive.

Please remember, you may be sitting beside a vulnerable person, pregnant lady, or small child in our waiting room, who we want to prevent from getting Covid, or any of the above respiratory infections.

Our goal is to provide the best service to all our patients throughout the entire winter and flu-season, to do that we need to keep our staff healthy, free form covid, and available to work.

We are a small team, so even one or two sick staff members really affects our ability to provide care to the town of Tubbercurry. We ask all patients to accommodate this request so we can continue to serve you throughout these challenging months.
