Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered either through our website or by requesting a ‘Prescription reorder form’ from Barry’s or Brett’s pharmacies. Brett’s and Barry’s pharmacies have kindly agreed to provide this service for all patients of Tubbercurry Family Practice.

Unfortunately, we will no longer be able to accept hand written requests for prescriptions going forward. This is for medication prescribing safety reasons.

Requests for repeat prescriptions will only be taken over the phone in exceptional circumstances for patients who are unable to attend the practice for health reasons.

The following changes are in line with best practice and are aimed to improve prescribing safety and to ensure their is joint responsibility for medications between doctors and patients.
